Places to explore in Baoding

Baishi Mountain Scenic Area
白石山景区
Baishi Mountain in Laiyuan has distinctive marble peaks, cliffs and mountain paths. Visits focus on viewing the peaks and valleys from open routes. Combine hiking and cable cars according to your fitness. Seas of clouds and distant views depend on weather and should not be treated as guaranteed sights on every visit. This is not the mountain of the same name along Xinjiang’s Yizhao Highway.

Western Qing Tombs
清西陵
The Western Qing Tombs form an extensive historic landscape of several Qing imperial mausoleums, associated buildings and woodland. Sacred ways, ceremonial gateways and axial arrangements of halls help explain imperial burial traditions. Choose among the mausoleums that are open rather than trying to visit every section at once. Located in Yi County, this is a different site from the Eastern Qing Tombs in Zunhua. Building conditions and accessible areas shown in reference images require on-site confirmation.

Yesanpo Scenic Area
野三坡景区
Yesanpo includes distinct natural sightseeing areas such as Baili Gorge and Baicaopan. Canyon walls, streams and elevated mountain scenery offer different walking experiences. Start with a route suited to your fitness, adding other areas if transport permits. Reference photographs record historical landscapes and do not guarantee performances, cable-car services or the opening status of individual areas.
