01

Originality and user value

  • Every page must serve a clear travel task and add practical value beyond summarising sources.
  • We do not copy, stitch together or lightly rewrite another site’s text, structure or images.
  • We do not mass-publish topics unrelated to the core purpose of China travel simply because they have search volume.
02

Sources and verification

  • Changeable facts about entry, transport, reservations and attractions prioritise official authorities, operators and venues.
  • Important pages display their last verification, last update and next review information.
  • When sources conflict or evidence is insufficient, we state uncertainty instead of forcing a conclusion.
03

AI assistance

AI may help organise outlines, improve clarity, find gaps and check formatting. It may not invent facts, sources, first-hand experience, author credentials or policy conclusions. A person reviews every published page.

04

Commercial independence

  • Payment never changes editorial recommendations or entry-rule results.
  • Affiliate and sponsored links carry clear disclosure and appropriate link attributes.
  • A click is recorded as a click. Orders or revenue are reported only when partner evidence exists.
05

Updates, consolidation and removal

Only substantive changes alter a page’s update date. Outdated content is updated, consolidated, warned or removed. URL changes use a one-to-one permanent redirect rather than sending every old page to the homepage.

This page describes China Travel Kit’s current practices in clear language. We will update the text and date when features, partners or applicable requirements change.
