Bijie
Zhijin Cave and the Baili Azalea scenic area in Bijie offer contrasting karst landscapes and highland vegetation. The attractions are far apart: plan visits by county and season rather than treating them as a continuous urban walking route.

Places to explore in Bijie

Zhijin Cave Scenic Area
织金洞景区
Zhijin Cave Scenic Area features underground caves and karst landforms, with varied stalagmites, stone columns and chambers. The colored light in the photographs comes from historical lighting arrangements, not entirely from the natural colors of the rock. Access to the scenic area and surrounding landform areas must be confirmed separately; the gallery mainly shows the cave interior.

Baili Rhododendron Scenic Area
百里杜鹃景区
Baili Rhododendron features extensive rhododendron woodland and mountain flower scenery. Areas such as Pudi and Jinpo offer different perspectives. During flowering, hillside colors vary with species and weather; outside that period, the vegetation looks different. Reference photographs show full bloom, not year-round or current flowering conditions.
