Places to explore in Quzhou

Jianglang Mountain–Nianbadu Tourist Area
江郎山·廿八都旅游区
Jianglang Mountain and Nianbadu offer contrasting mountain and ancient-town experiences, while the joint tourist area also includes Qingyang. Jianglang Mountain is known for towering Danxia peaks and mountain paths; Nianbadu suits exploration of lanes, courtyards and local architectural details. These are not sights that can all be covered on foot through one entrance. Separate hiking and town visits according to your fitness. The gallery shows Jianglang Mountain and Nianbadu; Qingyang photographs still need additions. Partial images should not be taken as coverage of the whole area.

Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Area
根宫佛国文化旅游区
Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Area focuses on root-carving art, bonsai, ornamental stones and gardens. View large root sculptures and walk between courtyards and water features. Its Tang- and Han-style architecture and art displays belong to a contemporary cultural tourism park; the entire complex should not be presented as an ancient temple site. Follow the on-site guide to determine which exhibition halls and gardens are open.
