What should I choose for a first Shaoguan visit?
Shaoguan (韶关) is in Guangdong. Danxia Mountain offers a landscape-focused excursion, while Nanhua Temple is a separate cultural visit. For a lighter city outing, consider the central area around Fengcai Tower and the riverside streets. Choose by interest and leave time for the transfers rather than treating all three areas as neighbouring stops.
Which railway station should I plan around?
Shaoguan (韶关站) and Shaoguan East (韶关东站) are different arrival points. The city's September 2026 transport notice lists different boarding locations for scenic-area services at the two stations. Match your train ticket to the actual pickup point, then check the present route and return service with the transport operator.
Can I rely on the holiday bus timetable?
The September notice includes extra National Day services and extended hours, which should not be treated as a year-round timetable. Use the operator channels identified there, including Shaoguan Yueyun (韶关粤运), to check your travel date. Mountain admission, temple visits, cableways and other products need separate checks; current prices and foreign-passport booking have not been tested in this review.
