First visit

Arrive and settle in Taizhou

Start with arrival and where to stay, then choose your sights. Recheck transport and accommodation details before booking.

Arrival and transfers+

After reaching Tiantai County, check transfers separately for destinations such as Guoqing Temple, Shiliang and Qiongtai. Allow additional time for mountain roads and walking trails, and confirm return services in advance. Do not treat the different areas as one visit through a single entrance.

Choosing accommodation+

Choose accommodation based on your destinations and transport options. Confirm your arrival time and the identity documents required for check-in.

Shenxianju Scenic Area

神仙居景区

Shenxianju is known for rocky peaks, cliffs and valleys. Your experience depends on the combination of entrance, cable cars and paths you choose. Distinguish the north and south entrances before planning, then select a circuit or shorter route according to your fitness. High viewing platforms are not suitable for every visitor with a fear of heights or limited mobility. The photographs are older mountain views and do not cover all subsequently added bridges and platforms or confirm that facilities are open.

Taizhou Prefectural City Cultural Tourism Area

台州府城文化旅游区

Taizhou Prefectural City lies in Linhai. Plan visits around the city wall, Ziyang Street, Jinshan and East Lake. The wall served both historic defense and urban flood protection. Walking it reveals the relationship between hills and streets, but its many steps demand more effort than level street walking. Choose one stretch of wall and combine it with lanes or East Lake rather than covering the entire route at once. The gallery mainly shows the wall; images of other areas still need additions.

Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area

天台山景区

Tiantai Mountain encompasses several areas combining temple culture and mountain scenery, including Guoqing Temple, Shiliang Waterfall and Qiongtai Xiangu. Cultural visitors can focus on Guoqing Temple; those interested in valleys and trails can add mountain sections. Entrances and transport differ, making a complete one-day visit unrealistic. Choose according to fitness and transport. Reference images show historical temple, valley and waterfall scenery, not confirmation that every area is currently accessible.
