Places to explore in Tengchong

Tengchong Volcano and Rehai Tourist Area
腾冲火山热海旅游区
Tengchong Volcano and Rehai Tourist Area has two parts, displaying volcanic landforms and geothermal springs and steam respectively. Sites such as Rehai’s Dagunguo offer views of geothermal activity, but springs intended for viewing are not bathing pools. The current gallery shows Rehai, not the volcanic area.

Heshun Ancient Town Scenic Area
和顺古镇景区
Heshun Ancient Town features traditional residences, ancestral halls, waterside lanes and overseas Chinese cultural connections. Heshun Library and Ai Siqi’s former residence offer insights into local history. Interior access rules vary between buildings; a town walk does not replace checking reservations for each venue. The gallery preserves views of historic buildings and their surroundings as references.
