Arrival and transfers+
After arriving in Wencheng County, check transport separately to Baizhangji and Liu Ji Temple. The waterfall trail has changes in elevation. Confirm how the entrances, exits and transfers connect; map distances alone are not enough to estimate the time needed.
Choosing accommodation+
Choose accommodation based on your destinations and transport options. Confirm your arrival time and the identity documents required for check-in.

Places to explore in Wenzhou

Yandang Mountain Scenic Area
雁荡山景区
Yandang Mountain is known for mountain scenery formed by peaks, gorges and waterfalls. Lingfeng, Lingyan and Dalongqiu are distinct sections. When choosing a route, first distinguish entrances and connections, then plan according to your fitness and the weather. Do not treat all sections as a single short continuous trail. Reference photographs mainly show peaks and paths around Lingyan and Xiaolongqiu, not all sections, and do not imply constant waterfall flow throughout the year.

Liu Bowen's Hometown Scenic Area
刘伯温故里景区
Liu Bowen's Hometown Scenic Area comprises Liu Ji Temple and Baizhangji, with different focuses on culture and waterfall trails. Baizhangji’s cascading waterfalls follow the terrain, and spray and slippery surfaces near the water require practical consideration. To learn about Liu Ji’s history, schedule a separate temple visit. All current reference photographs show Baizhangji, not Liu Ji Temple; waterfall images should not be treated as a complete presentation of the joint scenic area.
