Shennong Stream Boat Trackers Cultural Tourism Area

Download poster

Shennong Stream lies in Badong, flowing from the southern slopes of Shennongjia through canyons toward the Yangtze. The tourism area features boat-based scenery, mountains along both banks and boat-tracker culture. Stretches such as Mianzhu Gorge reveal deep rock walls and winding waterways. The reference gallery mainly shows Mianzhu Gorge and nearby confluence scenery. Confirm the actual river sections covered by your purchased itinerary.

Opening hours

Confirmed opening hours are not available on this page. Check opening and last-entry times with the venue before setting out.

Getting there

After reaching Badong, confirm the meeting point, pier and sailing time for your chosen excursion. Different water routes may have different start and end points. Do not head to an arbitrary riverbank based only on the name Shennong Stream.

Practical notes

Wear a life jacket as instructed and prepare sun and rain protection. Water levels and weather affect routes and operations. Confirm whether small wooden boats, boat-hauling demonstrations and other activities are offered and charged separately. Historical images do not guarantee current routes.
