Shanhaiguan Scenic Area
Shanhaiguan Scenic Area comprises the old town, Laolongtou and other areas, offering views of fortified architecture and an understanding of the Great Wall’s relationship with coastal defense. The First Pass Under Heaven and Laolongtou are not within the same entrance and need separate routes. These reference photographs mainly show Laolongtou and surrounding buildings and seascapes in winter, not all old-town scenery or current coastal access conditions.
