Places to explore in Lianyungang

Liandao Scenic Area
连岛景区
Liandao in Haizhou Bay combines beaches, rocky shores and coastal paths in one itinerary. Dashawan and Sumawan are useful reference points when planning a route. Walkers can focus on coastal scenery; those hoping to swim must separately confirm beach opening and lifeguard arrangements. Sea color, visibility and waves vary with weather, and the sunny conditions in reference photographs are not seen every day. Arrange transport and your return first, then choose walking or scenic transport according to the areas open that day.

Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area
花果山景区
Huaguo Mountain combines imagery from Journey to the West with real woodland, temples and mountain paths. Water Curtain Cave, Sanyuan Palace and Yunu Peak occupy different locations. Choose a route suited to your fitness rather than trying to reach every point. Cultural visits can focus on temples and cave entrances, with higher viewpoints added if you wish to hike. Spring flowers are one seasonal feature. Current reference images come from photographic works taken in spring 2021 and cannot establish flowering or weather in other months.
