Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area
Huaguo Mountain combines imagery from Journey to the West with real woodland, temples and mountain paths. Water Curtain Cave, Sanyuan Palace and Yunu Peak occupy different locations. Choose a route suited to your fitness rather than trying to reach every point. Cultural visits can focus on temples and cave entrances, with higher viewpoints added if you wish to hike. Spring flowers are one seasonal feature. Current reference images come from photographic works taken in spring 2021 and cannot establish flowering or weather in other months.

Travel from central Lianyungang to the visitor entrance, then choose walking and scenic transport according to that day’s open routes. Allow time for ascent, queues and descent; do not estimate mountain travel time from straight-line distance.

Wear non-slip shoes and slow down in rain or mist. Do not feed or provoke wild monkeys; secure food and belongings. Confirm sightseeing buses, cable cars and trail operations with the scenic area. Historical photographs are not proof of current access.
