Red Flag Canal–Taihang Grand Canyon Tourist Area
This tourist area combines two different experiences: the Red Flag Canal, focusing on the artificial water-diversion project, Youth Cave and commemorative displays; and Linzhou’s Taihang Grand Canyon, focusing on gorges, mountain trails and villages. They are not a continuous route behind one entrance, so plan separate days by area. Current photographs mainly cover the Red Flag Canal route near Youth Cave; the Taihang Grand Canyon gallery still needs additions.

Getting there
Arrange connections from Anyang or central Linzhou to a specific entrance. Distinguish the Red Flag Canal’s Fenshuiyuan, Youth Cave and Taihang Grand Canyon routes in advance, rather than navigating only by the joint scenic-area name.
Practical notes
Do not cross barriers along cliffs or canals. In rain, watch for slippery surfaces and follow rockfall management measures. Verify admission, sightseeing vehicles and accessible areas separately for each section. Old photographs do not represent current seasonal water levels or facility conditions.
