殷墟

Yinxu

Download poster

Yinxu is the site of a late Shang capital. Oracle-bone inscriptions, palace and ancestral-temple remains, and chariot-and-horse pits make Shang history easier to understand. Distinguish the archaeological site, royal tomb area and Yinxu Museum and plan around your reserved entrance. Interpretation helps connect exhibits and remains. The current reference gallery comes from the site and older display spaces, not the new museum’s interior exhibitions.
