Youyang Taohuayuan Scenic Area
Youyang Taohuayuan combines karst caves and rural courtyards with the cultural imagery of The Peach Blossom Spring. Ancient Taoyuan suits leisurely walking, Taigu Cave presents underground karst scenery, and Youzhou Ancient Town offers a different streetscape. This is not Taohuayuan in Changde, Hunan. These photographs mainly show rural courtyards and walking areas.

Getting there
Travel to the scenic area after reaching Youyang’s county town. Check the distance and connections from your railway or coach station to the town. Youyang is far from central Chongqing and should not simply be treated as a half-day city excursion.

Watch for slippery surfaces and temperature differences inside the cave and follow marked routes. Ticketing and opening times may differ between areas, and performances require separate confirmation.
