Liangzhu Archaeological Site and Museum
The Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City preserve evidence of an early regional state based on rice cultivation around 3300–2300 BCE. City platforms, water-management works and socially differentiated cemeteries reveal planning, hierarchy and belief, while the museum explains the jade objects and research that make low earthen remains legible. The park and museum work best as complementary parts of one story.

The site lies well outside central Hangzhou. Metro plus local transfer, taxi or a planned car journey is required; confirm whether the museum or site park is your first stop.
Practical notes
Advance reservations and identity checks can apply separately. The park is exposed and extensive, so use interpretation, carry weather protection, and avoid scheduling it as a brief add-on to West Lake.
