Practical notes
Reservation needed Real-name tickets on the official account; night opening in season has separate tickets. Walk the west bank first, up the steps to Fengxian Temple where the great Buddha and her guardians are, then cross to the east bank for the view back across the water. Early morning or the night session; the middle of the day is hot and crowded.
