Practical notes

Two blocks of workshop buildings kept plain rather than themed: OCAT's contemporary art spaces, design studios, a couple of serious bookshops, live music at B10 and a weekend market in the north zone. Free to wander; the galleries close on Mondays. Metro line 1 to Qiaochengdong. Window of the World and Happy Valley are one stop away if that is the kind of day you are having.
