Tiger Hill
Tiger Hill is a low but culturally dense hill associated with Suzhou's early history. The leaning Yunyan Pagoda, Sword Pool, rock inscriptions, temple remains and garden spaces layer legend, archaeology and later commemoration. The ascent is modest, yet the site rewards attention to how successive periods reused the same landform.

Buses and tourist routes reach the scenic entrance; it also connects conceptually with Shantang Street, though walking the full distance requires time and comfortable shoes.
Practical notes
Check weather-related closures and seasonal programmes. Stone steps can be slick, and the pagoda interior is normally protected rather than open for climbing; respect barriers and conservation work.
