Dawenkou National Archaeological Site Park
The type-site of the Dawenkou culture preserves evidence from Neolithic settlement and burial archaeology that reshaped understanding of prehistoric societies in the lower Yellow River region. Museum collections, protected excavation areas and the surrounding town connect ceramics and mortuary evidence to landscape and later history.
