Erguna Wetland

Erguna's protected wetlands occupy the transition between Greater Khingan forest and Hulunbuir grassland, combining river channels, marsh, wet meadow and wooded slopes. Elevated paths and viewpoints let visitors understand water storage and habitat without entering saturated ground. The familiar scenic area is only a managed window onto a much larger wetland system, so access barriers and seasonal closures are ecological protection rather than inconvenience.
