汉口老租界

The modern concession area in Hankou, with its red-brick bungalows and sycamore trees, is home to some of the Republic of China-style spots such as Bagong House and Lihuangpi Road, giving it a cinematic feel.

昙华林

Wuchang's 600-year historical and cultural district starts from Zhongshan Road in the east and ends at Desheng Bridge in the west, with a total length of about 1,200 meters. It gathers 52 outstanding historical buildings, a combination of Chinese and Western styles, and a large number of literary and artistic shops.

黄陂木兰文化生态旅游区

Huangpi Mulan Cultural and Ecotourism Area comprises Mulan Mountain, Mulan Tianchi, Mulan Grassland and Mulan Yunwu Mountain. Choose historic mountain buildings, forest lakes, grassland leisure or seasonal flowers according to your interests, or visit over several days. The Mulan story is a shared cultural theme, but these four places are not one continuous park and should not be planned as a short walk.

武汉长江大桥·轮渡

Combine the Yangtze River Bridge and the cross-river ferry into a cross-river experience. The first choice for ferries is the Wuzhong Line (Hankou Wuhan Pass Pier ↔ Wuchang Zhonghua Road Pier 1). Across the Yangtze River, you can see the Bridge, Yellow Crane Tower and Jianghan Pass.

东湖绿道

The cycling greenway surrounding the East Lake connects the Central Lake Road, Huguang Overture, Jiunvdun, Moshan, and Countryside Road. It is surrounded by lake water, green shade, and breeze. It is the right way to open Wuhan.

黄鹤楼

The Yellow Crane Tower is the most famous literary landmark in Wuhan. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times during the changes in the city and the river bank. The current building was built on the new site of Snake Mountain in the 20th century, using modern architecture to interpret the older famous buildings and poetic traditions. Its value lies in connecting literary memory, the reconstruction process and the panoramic view of the Yangtze River, the bridge and the three towns.

湖北省博物馆

The Hubei Provincial Museum focuses on the archeology of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The tomb of Zeng Houyi, chime bells, Chu art, lacquerware and later local history show complex national and cultural exchanges that go beyond the single Central Plains narrative. The exhibition hall is large in size and may have scheduled music displays, so it is suitable for half a day of focused planning rather than a rush to check in.

武汉东湖

East Lake is a vast urban lake system with many kilometers of greenways, wetlands, woodland peninsulas, gardens and university boundaries. Tingtao, Moshan and Luoyan areas have different landscapes and entrances, and it is impossible to cover them all in one casual walk; they are not only ecological habitats and urban water environment infrastructure, but also Wuhan's main leisure landscape.

汉口历史风貌区与江汉关

The Hankou river bank developed into an important commercial port after the opening of the port in the 19th century. Old banks, foreign banks, churches and Jianghan Pass are scattered behind the modern river beach, which not only records the foreign concession space, but also reflects the Chinese commercial network. Walking from the neighborhoods to the river bank, you can understand how trade, flood control and transportation came together to shape modern Wuhan.

武汉长江大桥

The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge was opened to traffic in 1957. The upper deck is for traffic and the lower deck is for railways. It is the first fixed channel for the Yangtze River in Wuhan. It physically connects the three towns and reshapes the north-south transportation across the country. Observing from the surrounding mountains, ferries and river banks, one can often better understand the engineering and urban scale than walking long distances along the traffic flow.
