中山桥

Zhongshan Bridge, "the No. 1 bridge on the Yellow River in the world", was built in 1907 by the German Tellai Company and designed by an American company. It was completed in 1909. In 1928, it was renamed Zhongshan Bridge in commemoration of Sun Yat-sen. In 2004, it was changed to a pedestrian bridge. Take Exit D of Xiguan Station of Metro Line 1 and walk about 600 meters to get there.

西藏博物馆

The Tibet Museum complements the age and material cultural background that is easily missed by looking only at monumental buildings. Exhibitions of archeology, documents, sculpture, fabrics, paintings, folklore and highland environments link artifacts to long-standing exchanges and local practices. During the period of adapting to the altitude, instead of trying to see all the display cabinets, it is better to choose key exhibition halls to read in depth, and carefully understand the explanatory text based on physical evidence.

束河古镇

Shuhe is an old Tea Horse Road town where streams run through quiet lanes. It is calmer than Dayan Old Town and suits a relaxed half-day or full-day walk.

洪洞大槐树寻根祭祖园

The commemorative landscape revolves around the collective memory of official immigrants related to Hongdong in the early Ming Dynasty. The existing ancient Sophora japonica imagery and the park serve as symbolic functions for genealogy and homecoming ceremonies, and are not literal evidence of the departure of each family; the exhibition should be read in conjunction with the documented history of immigration.

龙门石窟

More than 2,000 caves and niches are spread out along the limestone cliffs of the Yihe River. The most intensive excavation period lasted from the late Northern Wei Dynasty to the prosperous Tang Dynasty. The early works reflect the changes in palace status after the capital was moved to Luoyang, while Fengxian Temple represents the mature royal scale and shape of the Tang Dynasty. The inscriptions, donors and medicinal prescriptions make this place a record of society and belief, rather than just a string of giant Buddhas.

侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆

This is one of the sites of the Nanjing Massacre (including mass graves), carrying a painful history. Visiting it is a solemn ceremony to remember history and not forget the national humiliation. The exhibition line is the historical facts exhibition area → mass grave site → Peace Square → "Three Must Win" exhibition area.

阿里高原景观区

The Ali Plateau contains sacred mountains and sacred lakes, deserts, wetlands, wildlife habitats and sparse communities. It is not a blank landscape with blurred boundaries. Long distances, high altitudes, border regulations and protected area access determine routes, and travel must use compliance protection and carry redundant supplies.

老姆登与知子罗

Laomudeng is located in the Nu community landscape high up in the canyon, adjacent to Zhiziluo where the buildings from the old administrative center period are preserved. Views of the river valley coexist with memories of church life, farming, and changes in the 20th century; neither site is an abandoned set.

鲁朗林海

Lulang connects spruce and fir forests, meadows, farmland and villages on important transportation lines in southeastern Tibet. The viewing point shows how abundant water vapor supports dense forests under the high snow ridges, while the valley itself is still a land of human life and production. "Natural oxygen bar" is just a metaphor and not a medical conclusion. You still need to adapt to the altitude and pass through the pass with caution.

平遥县衙

Pingyao County Government retains the spatial logic of traditional local government: ceremonial gates and courtyards lead to the trial and administrative halls, with clerical, residential and prison areas at the rear. The building separates public power, official work and private life. Exhibitions are helpful for understanding the system, but the restored scenes should be read in conjunction with the real pattern.

崂山

Mount Laoshan is the highest mountain on China's coastline. It is divided into five tourist areas: Jufeng, Taiqing, Huayan, Yangkou, and Jiushui. They are divided into south line/middle line/north line. For the first time, I recommend the south line (Taiqing + Yangkou + Huayan). The mountains and sea are in the same frame, and the Taoist culture is profound.

西街

West Street West Street is the oldest street in Quanzhou. It started in the Tang Dynasty and extends from the Bell Tower to Kaiyuan Temple. Along the street are red brick ancient houses and swallow-tail ridges, snacks and cultural and creative shops are intertwined. It is the most smoky section of the ancient city. The main street is not long. You can walk from the Bell Tower to Kaiyuan Temple in ten minutes, but you can eat all the way if you stroll slowly. Public transportation: Motor vehicles are prohibited on West Street, and vehicles can only park outside the bell tower; in the ancient city, you can take a white car to the nearby area and then walk.

上海博物馆

The Shanghai Museum presents ancient Chinese art and material culture with important collections such as bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, sculptures, seals, coins and ethnic minority crafts. People's Square Pavilion and Pudong East Pavilion host different exhibitions. Before visiting, you must first confirm the location of the target exhibition hall.

仓桥直街

Cangqiao Zhi Street is the most representative Jiangnan water town historical district in Shaoxing, with a total length of about 1.5 kilometers. It is composed of rivers, residential buildings, and neighborhoods. Most of the residential buildings were built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. About 80% of the residents are preserved. It has won the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Protection Award. The neighborhood has a "one river and five streets" layout, with 43 gates of various types. Along the river from north to south are Cangqiao, Baozhu Bridge, Fuxiao and other ancient stone bridges. The core attractions include Baozhu Bridge, Ivy Library (Xu Wei's former residence), Xu Wei Art Museum, Kong Yiji Restaurant, etc.

深圳改革开放展览馆

The exhibition hall tells the story of Guangdong's reform and opening up process and Shenzhen's transformation from a border area to a global city through documents, products, photos, models and everyday objects. Physical evidence makes policy, labour, manufacturing, housing and migration concrete beyond a single ‘success narrative’. After visiting, you can compare the civic image formed by the planning with the social history in the museum based on the central axis of the nearby city.

江孜宗山古堡

Dzongshan Castle overlooks Gyantse and tells the story of local governance and the 1904 conflict through significant defensive ruins. Steep steps, exposed platforms and commemorative narratives all deserve to be understood beyond panoramic photos.

平江路

Pingjiang Road runs along the river through the relatively well-preserved old city area of Suzhou. Narrow bridges, laneways, courtyard houses, small museums and residents' lives continue the parallel relationship between streets and rivers in the historical map. The main road is obviously commercialized, but the urban fabric that is quieter and continues to be used as a community can still be seen in the branch lanes.

彩石溪与桃花峪

The western valley route highlights forests, streams and multi-colored rock outcrops more than the monumental stone steps of the central route. Colorful Stone Creek allows visitors to understand Mount Tai as a geological and ecological system, and the segmented sites are also suitable for slower half-day tours. Water amounts, vegetation, connections and trail openings vary seasonally and should not be packaged as a guaranteed waterfall sighting.

黄鹤楼

The Yellow Crane Tower is the most famous literary landmark in Wuhan. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times during the changes in the city and the river bank. The current building was built on the new site of Snake Mountain in the 20th century, using modern architecture to interpret the older famous buildings and poetic traditions. Its value lies in connecting literary memory, the reconstruction process and the panoramic view of the Yangtze River, the bridge and the three towns.

鼓浪屿历史国际社区

Gulangyu Island is a pedestrian-oriented island community that was shaped by residents of southern Fujian, overseas Chinese, and expatriates from multiple countries after the opening of Xiamen. The value of the World Heritage is not only in individual villas, but also includes streets, gardens, coastal environments, and architectural complexes that integrate multiple traditions and form Xiamen's decorative style, recording cultural exchanges from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century.
